Photo Tutorial

Hey y'all! yesterday I took this picture of my girls. They both had on white tops (and somehow managed to keep them clean, lol) The window light coming into our dining room was calling my name so I decided to attempt a picture with them. I have this cute little shag rug I found at hobby lobby that I used. You could use any rug or even a cute quilt or blanket. I opened the curtains and placed the rug right on the pretty light coming in. I also turned the lights off in the dining room, window light is all you need.

Now comes the hard part...getting those kids to willingly participate. You have to figure out what works for your kids. My girls love taking pictures with my camera so I always offer to let them take a picture, look at it, then say now let me take a picture and lets look at it... they love that! Don't stress on making your kids smile and say cheese.... you want to remember them just how they are! I snagged this picture as they were being silly with each other while laying down and I love it!

Don't worry if you don't have a fancy camera, you don't need one! The iPhone takes amazing pictures! You can even edit on that thing! To get this next look, lay your child down near the window light and take a picture. Open it up on your phone and crop it in, then move the light up to brighten your exposure. I guarantee your picture will be very similar to this one!

Try this out today and let me know how it works for you!!! I'd love to see your picture if you take one! Please share it in the comments section on my Facebook post about this tutorial. Have a great Tuesday y'all!
